Timing
Cleanup timing in central Ohio
Spring cleanups usually happen in March and April, before the first mowing. Fall cleanups and leaf removal run from mid-October into December, as the leaves come down.
Good to know
- A thick layer of wet leaves left on the lawn over winter can smother the grass and lead to snow mold in spring.
- Leaves fall over several weeks. Many yards need more than one visit in the fall.
